I am obsessed with these stories and the power that comes from sharing them. I also know that every love story is comprised of not only the big moments (like your wedding day) but all the tiny, fleeting moments as well—those seemingly small things that, in the end, make up the core of what makes life beautiful.

And that is why I feel a video of your wedding day is so valuable.

Why wedding videography?

Because in a video, you can hear the sound of your loved ones’ laughter.

You can witness your best friends being goofy as they hang out together in the in-between times of your big day.

You can see the details of your wedding captured in a way that feels alive and present—bringing you back into the moment in a unique way.

Years from now, both you and your loved ones can look back and watch your parents smiling and your friends dancing like crazy. It gives any future children you may have a unique way to look back and see their parents living one of the happiest days of their lives.

My Filmmaking Style

My goal as a wedding videographer is to give you a film you can look back on to remember all those little moments, captured in a way that showcases your authentic love.

To accomplish this, I aim to find a balance between gorgeous cinematic shots and more documentary-style footage of your day - sometimes even blooper reels!

I will work with you to make sure I understand what your wedding values are, and always strive to make you feel comfortable being yourselves in front of the camera. Every love story is beautifully unique, and perfectly imperfect; I want to capture the specific things that are important to you.

About Me

Raised in small-town North Dakota and now living in northwest Minnesota with my hubby, I had been creating videos for fun for years before starting wedding videography. My husband and I have a passion for travel (having been to 9 countries and counting together!) and I found that creating vlogs of our adventures made the memories feel so much more alive when looking back on them. I enjoyed it so much that I knew I wanted to move into doing videography more seriously. Weddings were a natural choice—I am so sentimental and LOVE love, and as soon as I did my first wedding I knew that I wanted to do this forever!!

Other fun facts:

  • I have a musical background, and have a degree in music education!

  • I am a massive nerd (talk to me about anything fantasy/sci-fi, video games, or Dungeons & Dragons).

  • I hope to someday visit all 7 continents!

Since I was a little girl, I have loved telling stories.
